An independent educational resource

The Media Liability Insurance Directory is an educational reference for media companies, brokers, and the professionals who advise them on understanding media liability insurance: what it is and who insurers write it for. It publishes no quotes, takes no applications, binds no coverage, and gives no insurance advice.

How it is researched

  • Primary sources only. Every factual claim is tied to a citable source, verified in September 2026.
  • Every factual claim is cited. Each page ends with a Sources section naming the materials it relies on. No Wikipedia is used as a source.
  • Unverifiable facts are omitted. If a detail cannot be tied to a citable source, it does not appear. Summaries describe how insurers present their products; they do not claim to describe every policy.
